To activate your service:
* You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the SIM card into your international mobile phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your mobile phone.
^Your Malaysia SIM card will be blocked if the PIN is entered incorrectly 3 times. The PUK is only required to unblock your phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Your phone may or may not prompt you for a PIN code. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone. Call customer service at 016 221 1800 immediately to receive a customized PUK after you have answered security questions.
How to make a call
To make an international call from your Malaysia mobile phone dial 00 (or +), followed by the country code (1 for the US), area code and phone number.
How family and friends call you
Family and friends need to dial the international prefix, the country code 60 and your mobile phone number, omitting the leading 0 (zero)
For example, when calling from the United States, callers need to dial 011 60 and then your mobile phone number.
To add credit to your Malaysia SIM card, you will need to purchase recharge vouchers, also called Reload card. They may be purchased in 2 denominations: 50 and RM 100.
To recharge your account:
Please refer to your mobile phone display for your remaining credit. Some mobile phone handsets do not immediately display the remaining credit on the mobile phone screen. If this should happen, please refer to your mobile phone manual on how to retrieve the remaining credit.
The remaining credit displayed on your mobile phone display is only an estimate. The Digi billing system is the actual reference for all credit balance charges incurred on your prepaid SIM card.
Please note that your prepaid SIM card can no longer be used when the credit is zero. The calls will be interrupted without forewarning when the credit reaches zero. To avoid call interruption, you'll receive a warning notice via a text message from DiGi. We strongly advise that you recharge your SIM card before the remaining credit is depleted.
Customer service for your Malaysia SIM card is available 24/7 by dialing 016 221 1800 from your Malaysia mobile phone or 370 699 23230 from a landline.
Your Malaysia SIM card account is valid for 12 months from the date of activation.
Once activated, the credit is valid for 30 days from the date of activation after which all calls will be barred unless you recharge. Any unused credit from the previous period will be carried forward.
If do not recharge your Malaysia SIM card within 12 months, your mobile phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card.
